Key elements would have to be proper language, details on the subject, and a great understanding of what you are talking about.

You are much more passionate speaking about something you enjoy in contrast to something you aren’t.

Martin Luther King Jr. is probably one of the greatest leaders in world history. His non-violent protests helped the Civil Rights movement a great deal. He was inspired by Gandi to use non-violence against segregation and prejudice. He was put in jail 20 times, was stabbed in the chest, had his house bombed, and was eventually assasinated, but his beleifs and his amazing speeches stayed with the american people, who still recognize him as the greatest of the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement.

The three colleges I would like to go to the most would have to be Rutgers, Willam Paterson, and Seton Hall. My reasons for this because they are in suburban areas in the same state that I live in. They are also affordable as long as I have a good scholarship. They also have film societies, which is something I want to get into. There may be better colleges, but I prefer to be in New Jersey anyway.

In our world today it seems that Social Media has caught on faster than any other form of communication ever invented. Sites like Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter have grown exponetially in a relatively short amount of time. Facebook reached 100 million users in only 9 months, which is amazing compared to other forms of communications. It seems that humanity is moving toward something new, and fast. written word soon may be replaced by typing, and and news and information will seek us out. Anything is possible in our world, but only time will tell.

Remember the hoax involving the Heene family and a large runaway balloon? It seems that the father of  Falcon Heene, Richard Heene has turned himself in to the police. He has pleaded guilty on charges of attempting to infulence a public servant. He is to spend 90 days in custody, and his wife, convicted of another charge will be in custody for 20 days. The entire hoax was so that the Heene family could get their own reality TV show. i makes people wonder, how far will attention-seekers go in their quest for a short time of fame?

Recently, there has been new developments in artificial retinas for blind people. It is microchip that helps stimulate damaged cells in the eye. For Barbara Campbell, a blind woman at age 56, it is amazing to be able to see things clearly one again. This study may one day lead to the development of the true bionic replacement eye. This breakthrough may sound like a Star Trek gadget, but it is real, and it may be that start of seeing aid for blind people everywhere.

Hello, I am your narrator today, I am here to tell you a story. This is the story of a young man named Simon. Simon is a boy who doesn’t have a very interesting life. That changed one day when he met a prince with a very hard-to- pronounce name. The prince asked for help because his kingdom, the Kingdom of Verysmall, needed help to defeat a great monster.

Simon was then shrunk down to insect-size, where he could see and fight the monster. He then journeyed over huge (By huge I mean normal-sized), objects, until he found the monster’s lair. The monster was ugly, horrifying, and evil. It was a rat. Simon and the rat then engaged in battle.

The battle lasted about five seconds, Simon won. He was then hailed as a hero to the kingdom of Verysmall, and became famous to its people. But an important detail came up that bugged Simon, so he asked the prince. “How exactly do I get back to normal size?” Apperently the prince had no idea, so Simon had to take ANOTHER journey to find out how to return to normal size. But THAT is a whole different story.

Recently I have read that most adults don’t read books regularly. It seems that the smae goes for children and teens as well. It seems that television and internet have replaced books. While it does seem strange to be preaching this on a blog, it is a concern, especially for those who write and publish books.

The article that I read telling me about this was made to alert people of this. To tell them to go and pick up a book. I myself am an avid reader, I read every day. I just don’t understand why some just can’t pick up a book sometime.

The article actually taught me a few things such as how most adults do not read a book cover to cover in a year. It also told me that this has happened before, when writing was first invented. It be gan to revolutionize how people back then lived life. It is the same as now, how internet changed our lives. It is also true that some schools use labtops instead of writing assignments.

This could be a disaster for written literature. It may mean the end of written works will be replaced by computers. Only time will tell, but it is definitly affecting life. Most do work on a computer than on a piece of paper.

If it were uip to me, I would tell everyone to read and finish at least one good book every month. It could help give people better outlooks on books and the lessons they teach. It would be a lerning experience for everyone. On a final note, try picking up a good  book if you read this, instead of looking it up on SparkNotes, or Googling it.
